Internet E-Mail Instructions - Sat-A-Link

Please select your operating system:

Windows Vista
Windows XP
Windows 95/98/2000

Remove Spam email form your inbox!



Windows Vista

  1. Go to Start Menu
  2. Click on E-Mail Windows Mail
  3. Click on Tools
  4. Click on Accounts
  5. Click Add
  6. Click E-Mail Account
  7. Next
  8. Display Name: Put in just your name
  9. Next
  10. Put in your username@daily-journal.com
  11. Next
  12. Incoming E-Mail Server Type POP3
  13. Incoming Mail: mail.daily-journal.com
  14. Outgoing Mail: mail.daily-journal.com
  15. Next
  16. Put in your username. DO NOT put username@daily-journal.com.
  17. Put in your password
  18. Next
  19. Finish

The program is now setup to access your e-mail. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work.

Windows XP

  1. Go to Start
  2. Go to All Programs
  3. Click on Outlook Express
  4. Click on Tools
  5. Select Accounts
  6. Click the Mail tab
  7. Click the Add button and select Mail
  8. The Internet Connection Wizard will open
  9. Enter your name
  10. Click next
  11. Enter your e-mail address (username@daily-journal.com)
  12. Click Next
  13. Incoming Mail Server is a POP3 server.
  14. Type in mail.daily-journal.com for the incoming mail server.
  15. Type in mail.daily-journal.com for the outgoing (SMTP) mail server.
  16. Click Next
  17. Enter your account name. This is just your username (all lowercase and no spaces). DO NOT put in your email address.
  18. Enter your password (all lowercase and no spaces).
  19. Check the box to remember your password.
  20. Click Next
  21. Click Finish

The program is now setup to access your e-mail. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work.

Windows 95/98/2000

  1. Go to Start
  2. Go to All Programs
  3. Click on Outlook Express
  4. Click on Tools
  5. Select Accounts
  6. Click the Mail tab
  7. Click the Add button and select Mail
  8. The Internet Connection Wizard will open
  9. Enter your name
  10. Click next
  11. Enter your e-mail address (username@daily-journal.com)
  12. Click Next
  13. Incoming Mail Server is a POP3 server.
  14. Type in mail.daily-journal.com for the incoming mail server.
  15. Type in mail.daily-journal.com for the outgoing (SMTP) mail server.
  16. Click Next
  17. Enter your POP account name. This is just your username (all lowercase and no spaces). DO NOT put in your email address.
  18. Enter your password (all lowercase and no spaces).
  19. Internet Mail Account: kdj
  20. Click Next
  21. Choose "I will establish my internet connection manually."
  22. Click Next
  23. Click Finish
  24. Click Close

The program is now setup to access your e-mail. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work.
