Eudora Light for Windows

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options.

2. On the left select Getting Started. The following is required: *POP Account: YOUR-USER-NAME@mail.sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created *Return Address: YOUR-USER-NAME@mail.sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created

3. On the left select Hosts. The following is required: *SMTP: mail.sat-a-link.com.

4. Click on OK. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. For more information about the program's other options and capabilities please consult the included help files by clicking on the Help menu in the program window.

Internet Mail for Windows

1. Go to the Mail menu and select Options.

2. Click on the Server tab. The following is required: *Email Address: YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created *Outgoing Mail (SMTP): mail.sat-a-link.com *Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.daily-journal.com *Account Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created *Password: Enter the password you selected when your account was created

3. Click on OK. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. Outlook 2000 for Windows 98

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Accounts.

2. Select the Mail tab and check if your default is the daily-journal mail (if you do not have a selection for Internet Mail then you will need to add it by clicking the Add button).

3. Click on the General tab. The following is required: *Email Address: YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created *Internet Mail Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *Account Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created *Password: Enter the password you selected when your account was created

4. Click on the Connections tab. Make sure Connect using a modem is selected and then choose the connection for Sat-A-Link Online from the box below.

5. Click on OK, and then OK again. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. Outlook 97 for Windows 95/98

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Services.

2. Select the Services tab and double-click on Internet Mail (if you do not have a selection for Internet Mail then you will need to add it by clicking the Add button).

3. Click on the General tab. The following is required: *Email Address: YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created *Internet Mail Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *Account Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created *Password: Enter the password you selected when your account was created

Outlook Express for Windows 95/98

1. Go to the Tools menu and select Accounts.

2. Click on the Mail tab, click the Add button, and choose Mail.

3. Enter your name. Click Next.

4. For Email Address enter YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created

5. Click Next.

6. Enter the following: *My incoming mail server is a: POP3 *Incoming Mail (POP3 or IMAP) Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.sat-a-link.com

7. Click Next.

8. Enter the following: *POP Account Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created *Password: Enter the password you selected when your account was created

9. For Internet Mail Account Name enter Sat-A-Link Online.

10. Click Next.

11. Choose I will establish my Internet connection manually.

12. Click Next, and then click Finish.

13. Click Close. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. To use Outlook Express the first time:

1. Connect to the Net, once connected click the mail icon at the top of the page. Hit read mail. (This should open up your outlook express.)

2. Composing & Sending
Once in Outlook Express hit the new mail icon to compose a message. It will bring up a blank message board. Fill in your recipients e-mail address in the To: line. To send the message to other people type their e-mail address in the CC: line separated by a coma. Exp.:
To: msteele@sat-a-link.com
Cc: dcampbell@sat-a-link.com, wlebeau@sat-a-link.com, smcguire@sat-a-link.com.
Once you have composed your message simply click the send icon.

3. Receiving:
When you first open Outlook Express you can set your options to automatically check for new messages.
Open Tools then go down to the Options button.
In the General tab make sure there is a black check mark in front of ALL of the boxes. There should be 7 black check marks on the page.
When you want to check your messages manually at any time just hit the send/receive icon at the top of the page.

Email in Netscape Navigator 3.x for Windows

1. Go to the Options menu and select Mail and News Preferences.

2. Click on the Servers tab. The following is required: *Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *POP3 User Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created

3. Click on the Identity tab. The following is required: *Your Email: YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created

4. Click on OK. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. Email in Netscape Communicator 4.0 for Windows

  Netscape produces two versions of their 4.x browsers, one includes an Email program and one does not. If you do not have the version with an Email program then you will need to go to Netscape's web site and download Communicator 4.x. To find out which version you have, look at the menus across the top of the Netscape window. If you do not have one that says Communicator then you will need to download the other version.

1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.

2. On the left, double-click on Mail and Groups and select Identity. The following is required: *Email Address: YOUR-USER-NAME@sat-a-link.com, where YOUR-USER-NAME is the username you selected when your account was created

3. On the left, select Mail Server. The following is required: *Mail Server User Name: Enter the username you selected when your account was created *Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.sat-a-link.com *Incoming Mail Server: mail.sat-a-link.com

4. Click on OK. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. Email in Netscape Communicator 4.5 for Windows

  Netscape produces two versions of their 4.x browsers, one includes an Email program and one does not. 6. Click OK. This program is now set up to access your Email through Sat-A-Link Online. You will need to be dialed in and connected to the service for it to work. Email in Netscape Communicator 6.1 for Windows

1. Open up Netscape 6.1.
2. Go to Tasks then select Mail.
3. The 'New Account Setup' window will appear.
4. Select ISP or email provide button, hit Next.
5. The 'Account Wizard' window will appear.
6. Type in your 'Name' and your 'email address' in the white boxes, hit Next.
7. Under 'Incoming Server', select 'Pop' then type in 'Server Name' (the same server goes to Outgoing server, by default), hit Next.
8. Type in 'Username', hit Next.
9. Type in 'Account Name', hit Next.
10. Congratulations will appear then click 'Finish'.

If you want to change your Outgoing Server, do the following:

1. Open up Netscape 6.1.
2. Go to Tasks then select Mail.
3. On Your 'Mail' window, go to Edit.
4. Select 'Mail/News Account Settings' under Edit.
5. Click on 'Outgoing Server' and type in your mail server under 'Server Name'.
6. Check 'Use name and password'.
7. Type in 'Username' in the textbox then click 'OK'.
